Step by step with screenshots: How to install the BidStaff extension on Chrome, Edge and Firefox

You stay in control

Reads the page you open. Nothing more.

The extension only reads the job, profile or proposal page you have open, when you use it. It never clicks, applies, submits or sends messages for you, never runs in the background and never asks for your Upwork password. You submit every proposal yourself.

FAQ

Extension questions

Is the extension free?

Yes. It comes with every BidStaff plan and free trial. Checks and proposals use the same credits as the web app.

Which browsers does it work in?

Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox on desktop. Brave, Opera and other Chrome-based browsers usually work with the Chrome version.

Does it apply to jobs for me?

No. It writes the proposal and you copy it into Upwork and submit it yourself. It never clicks or submits anything on Upwork.

Do I need my Upwork password?

No. You log in with your BidStaff account only.

How do I update it?

Store versions update by themselves. If you downloaded it, we email you when a new version is out: download it here, replace the old folder and press reload on the extensions page.

Can my team use it?

Yes. Every team member logs in with their own BidStaff username. Each check and proposal uses their own credits and is saved to their Tracking.
